Sacred, Beautiful, & Universal: Colloquium XIX

The fine folks at Corpus Christi Watershed have produced a wonderful, hour long documentary entitled, "Sacred, Beautiful & Universal." The film gives us an inside look into the Church Music Association of America's 19th Sacred Music Colloquium held in 2009 in Chicago, Illinois. Featuring many wonderful pieces of music, excerpts from lectures and interviews, it is an hour well spent.

Can you tell the difference??

This is a nice little video on Sacred Music vs. Secular Music at mass courtesy Corpus Christi Watershed. Enjoy!

Stations of the Cross

Check out this neat video.  Better to be in the Church, but thought you'd like a resource to also reflect on the stations at home:

Pray the Stations of the Cross with images photographed at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish in South Saint Louis. The prayers accompanying each station are selections from the traditional St. Francis of Assisi "Way of the Cross" meditations.

The prayer is led by Father Thomas Wyrsch, Pastor of St. Margaret of Scotland Parish in St. Louis.

The video presentation of the Stations of the Cross were compiled by Lisa Johnston for the St. Louis Review.
