The fine folks at Corpus Christi Watershed have produced a wonderful, hour long documentary entitled, "Sacred, Beautiful & Universal." The film gives us an inside look into the Church Music Association of America's 19th Sacred Music Colloquium held in 2009 in Chicago, Illinois. Featuring many wonderful pieces of music, excerpts from lectures and interviews, it is an hour well spent.

This year, the CMAA's Sacred Music Colloquium XX will be held in Pittsburgh, PA on the campus of Duquesne University. The days are counting down until the colloquium, the music list has been published, and on June 21 I'll be flying to Pittsburgh for what promises to be seven days of musical heaven.
