Bringing young adults into a deeper relationship with Christ through Eucharistic worship.
Nationally-known theologian right in our own backyard!
Dr. Lawrence Feingold, Assistant Professor for the Institute for Pastoral Theology of Ave Maria University. recently presented a 3-part series on the "Curé of Ars: Master of Pastoral Theology" as well as the "Spousal Meaning of the Body, Marriage & the Transmission of Life." We are so blessed to have such a dynamic speaker and nationally-known theologian right in our own backyard!
Recordings of Dr. Feingold’s presentations are now online! **They can be played directly on the website or downloaded for later use.
In addition to the recordings, Dr. Feingold has provided his detailed notes for further reflection!
- Curé of Ars: Master of Pastoral Theology (5/17/2010)
- Spousal Meaning of the Body, Marriage & the Transmission of Life (5/18/2010 and 5/19/2010)
- Our Lady of Guadalupe (May 2009)
As a current student of the Institute for Pastoral Theology, I ask each of you to consider how God is calling you to grow in knowledge and love for Him. We all as Christians are called to strive for perfect holiness and gaining knowledge about the faith is needed so we can love God more fully.
For a long time I had wanted to study about my Catholic faith with an adult understanding and appreciation. However I had three conditions. The program had to:
- Be trustworthy to teach what Christ truly revealed and the Church truly believes
- Allow me to continue to work and provide flexible hours for personal study
- Have teachers physically present to give instruction (instead of participating in a virtual online, distance learning community)
I found all, and much more, in the Institute for Pastoral Theology. If you feel like this might be a perfect fit for you as well, please pray about it and apply! You won’t regret it. I am already seeing how what I have learned in class has helped me in my personal and professional relationships and responsibilities.
If you are interested, please feel free to ask me any questions about the program! Email me anytime!
