Eucharistic Adoration

Never heard of Eucharistic Adoration before? Never tried it? That's ok. Everyone is welcome. Christ is the host really and we are His guests. He calls each of us to visit Him! Here's the scoop:

Who: Young adults in their 20-30s, single or married

What: Catholic community centered on Christ

When:

  • EVERY WEDNESDAY @ 7:00PM Maryville University in St. Louis (Huttig Chapel)
  • EVERY THURSDAY @ 7:00PM the Church of St. Bernadette in South County

Where: South/Central St. Louis (& across the country for that matter)

Why: To adore Christ in the Blessed Sacrament yielding community with Him & others

This Week @ S&T South: The 7 Dolors of Mary & The 18 Holes of Mini Golf

This week at S&T South we'll have a short catechesis on the "Seven Dolors of the Blessed Virgin Mary." At the conclusion of the talk, we'll head to the Lourdes Garden pray the traditional prayer of the Seven Dolors.

Following the talk and prayer, we'll hit the road for 18 holes of mini golf. Be sure to bring some cash to pay the "green fees." Who knows, we may even take some swings up the batting cages too. Feel free to invite some friends to join us for this social event.

This Week @ S&T South: Love, Sacrifice, & the Culture

This week at S&T South we'll take a look at the meaning of love rooted in sacrifice and how it is portrayed in the culture. SPOILER ALERT! This presentation will include multimedia from recent motion pictures that may spoil the endings if you have not seen them. The following films will be discussed in the talk: The Dark Knight Rises, Captain America, Thor, Return of the King, and The Hunger Games.

Tonight @ S&T South: Discipulus X

Tonight at Spirit & Truth South, we will have a social evening featuring coffee, desserts, and the music of Discipulus X performed live. Discipulus X is a local Catholic musician with a great craft for songwriting. Please join us for this special evening. We'll reserve the conference table in Feckter Hall for those who need to study for finals.

This week at Spirit & Truth South, Fr. Fadi Auro will lead us in catechesis and our Holy Hour. Confessions will be available.  Fr. Auro is one of the most brilliant priests ordained for the Archdiocese of Saint Louis in recent years. We will surely miss all those attending the rescheduled Audrey Assad concert benefitting STL Young Adults.
